I offer my services online or see clients in person in my clinic space in Mangawhai, New Zealand. I also offer private retreats or consultations on request.

That’s what I’m here to support you with using the Foundation You approach. Bringing together scientific  approaches to movement, wellbeing and life paired with our philosophy of treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. I help clients achieve their goals and dreams by setting them up for success.

How does it work?

We will do a number of initial assessments to identify:

  • Your posture
  • Diet, lifestyle & emotional stressors 
  • Your musco-skeletal system
  • Where you are out of balance
  • What your challenges/resistance/fears are
  • What your dream/goal and motivation to change is

From there, I will create an individual programme to support you in achieving your desired outcome and live a more joyful and meaningful life. Programmes will all look quite different, as we as humans are all quite different in our needs depending on what our lifestyle and constitution and personal circumstances look like. 

Throughout your journey you will have me as an experienced coach/practitioner by your side supporting you and holding you accountable in your commitment to yourself. If you’re all in, I am too!

    This is an introduction to the Foundation You Approach. If you are looking to make some minor changes in your lifestyle and bring more movement into your life, then this programme is for you.

    Foundation You Fundamentals.

    (Twelve Weeks)

    • 12 x 1:1 Coaching sessions
    • Video tutorials for your home practice

    Foundation You Deep Dive.

    (Six Months)

    What’s included in the package:

    • Postural assessment
    • Physiological load & musco-skeletal assessment
    • Four Dr. Assessment
    • Corrective stretch, exercise and lifestyle program for 6 months
    • 24 x 1:1 coaching sessions
    • Video tutorials for your home practice

    Investment = $ 2500

    The most important part is a willingness to commit to the program for a month. It is not a cookie cutter approach – you will reap what you sow, so to say.

    Massage therapy & Myofascial Release in Mangawhai.

    Myofascial Release/Acute Care & Deep Tissue Massage

    Myofascial Release is an effective hands-on treatment that involves applying gentle sustained pressure and slow stretching movement into the myofascial connective tissue to relieve pain and tension, improve posture and to balance the whole body system.

    Myofascia in the fascia that covers the muscular system. It covers every layer within the musculature, wrapping every muscle group, the individual muscles, muscle fibres and muscle bundles.

    If the myofascia is tight and restricted, a restricted environment for the muscle is created, causing pain and tension in the body.

    It is quite usual that when one area of the body is released there is a ripple effect and restrictions, tension and pulling patterns are released in other areas of the body.

    The benefits of myofascial release work are:

    • Decreases overall tension in the body
    • Breaks up scar tissue
    • Decreases pain
    • Increases range of motion & mobility
    • Helps break old structural holding patterns
    • Lengthens chronically shortened muscles
    • Relieves stress & compression on joints
    • Releases emotional tension

    These Myofascial Release/Massage sessions will be combined with Somatic Integration techniques. Somatic Integration helps the brain and nervous system learn a new way of moving the body to increase ease and efficiency in movement.

    Corporate Wellbeing, Group Coaching & Private Retreats.

    Martin can be hired as a consultant and coach for businesses/private retreats or events. 

    We as humans thrive the most in a tribe where we experience a sense of belonging. I take my clients through group experiences to improve the learning curve and to connect like minded people with one another.

    Using a collective process to work on the principles of the Foundation You method everyone will benefit through listening to each other’s experiences and sharing their questions with the group.

    The workshops or seminars are facilitated online or in person around the World.

    A restorative mix of Stretching, breathing techniques and holistic movement to enhance your wellbeing and your sense of feeling home in your body. 

    A small group setting allows for personal interaction before and after class and is open for all ages and levels.
